CHAPTER ONE
The girl who talked to the wind.
As a child, Kelly talked to the wind. Nature, invented worlds and unseen companions were part of her childhood, but her word for that connection was simply “the wind.”
At seven, Kelly spent significant time in the hospital. Betty D. Boegehold’s What the Wind Told became personally meaningful: Tossy, a little girl confined to bed, asks the wind for stories of the world beyond her window.
Only later did Kelly come to understand that childhood connection as part of how she listened for Spirit. The experience came first; her vocabulary changed.
CHAPTER TWO
A language I already knew.
Later, Kelly discovered that intuition was part of her family’s story too, reaching back through four generations. It gave context to experiences that had already felt familiar.
That history is part of where she comes from. Her own experiences, choices and work are how she has found her way.
CHAPTER THREE
Healing through the body.
My path into healing wasn’t one I had planned.
Life had taken a very different turn from the future I once imagined for myself, and somewhere in the process of finding my way forward, massage therapy entered the picture.
What began as a new direction became something much more. Working with people through massage opened the door to energy work, deeper study and an evolving understanding of healing—one that would eventually become part of K Wahl Healing Arts.
CHAPTER FOUR
Finding my voice.
Kelly’s mentor and close friend Shirley Calkins Smith, along with Women’s Empowerment Retreats, helped shape this chapter of her life.
As Kelly developed her mediumship, speaking and communication, she also found more ways to share her voice. Radio and storytelling became further expressions of that work: listening, connecting and finding language for experiences that can be difficult to describe.
CHAPTER FIVE
The courage to be the Fool.
In Tarot’s Fool, Kelly sees zero: a beginning full of curiosity and potential. She sees authenticity, humor and moxie—the willingness to look a little ridiculous and move forward anyway.
Her personalized Fool travels with Bailey, her loyal companion and protector.
The Fool is not foolish.
To Kelly, she is free.
CHAPTER SIX
Rising.
The Phoenix is a symbol of rebirth and renewal that Kelly identifies with deeply. That connection is part of her published work as a co-author of A Journey of Riches: Motivate Your Life.

We do not erase the chapters that brought us here.
Some were beautiful.
Some hurt.
Some changed us.
Some nearly broke us.
Some taught us who we are.
But none of them gets to write the ending.
You still hold the pen.
